The Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 19 to 22, 2023. In a bid to effectively implement the “I help companies find markets” initiative, help printing and packaging companies in Shenzhen to stabilize orders and expand markets, and strive to create trade opportunities, after careful planning and extensive mobilization, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenzhen Municipal Committee (CCPIT Shenzhen) invited 55 printing and packaging companies in Shenzhen to form a Shenzhen delegation to participate in the exhibition in Hong Kong, displaying their corporate brand image and latest products and technologies, helping the companies connect with global customers, broaden communication channels and gain insight into market opportunities, and further enhancing the competitiveness of Shenzhen companies in the international market.
For the first time since 2019, this year’s Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair was held in the form of “offline + online.” The Shenzhen pavilion had a total of 68 booths with an exhibition area of 615 square meters. Its exhibits covered printing raw materials, packaging products, food and beverage packaging, creative retail and signs, luxury packaging, anti-counterfeiting technology, green eco-friendly printing technology, design services and other new products, new materials, new processes, and new technologies.
During the exhibition, in order to help the exhibitors with their promotion and publicity, and increase the popularity of their booths, CCPIT Shenzhen sent invitations to global buyers through the sourcing website of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council to increase the exposure of the exhibitors from Shenzhen’s printing and packaging industry and help them match with more domestic and foreign customers.
This exhibition largely rewarded the exhibitors from Shenzhen. On average, each company negotiated with more than 80 professional buyers on site, and some buyers placed orders for samples right away. According to incomplete statistics, during the exhibition, the Shenzhen exhibitors reached deals of intention of more than US$20 million. Shenzhen Fuyuan Industrial Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Pack Packaging Product Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Xunlan Technology Co., Ltd., Meisheng Packaging Shenzhen Co., Ltd. and some other companies said that they had achieved remarkable effect at this printing and packaging fair.
Li Jie, general manager of Shenzhen Fuyuan Industrial Co., Ltd., expressed his gratitude to CCPIT Shenzhen for organizing a series of activities in recent years to promote the development of Shenzhen’s printing and packaging industry. His company has achieved the expected results at this exhibition, hoping that government departments can introduce more assistance measures for printing and packaging enterprises to help them better explore foreign and domestic markets.
